Man Bellies

Tess is possibly out of power on and off today due to bad weather, so I'm afraid you're stuck with me today. However, after Em's Petrova's post yesterday about moobs, and seeing a couple of comments about the male belly, I thought we may as well continue our discussion today with some rather delightful and not-so-delightful pictures.

Sigh.
I'm afraid I've no room to squawk about beer bellies. I've got a belly going on myself! LOL...Well, maybe not a BEER belly, but a belly all the same.

Ah, but I love a man's tummy. And I love the soft ones, so cuddly. Although those six packs are awfully nice, too.

LOL at the pumpkin swallower!

I love a six pack, but what I love even more is a man with a little more there. A man's soft belly is so comforting against your OWN skin. C. Zampa, I agree with you on this one...:)

But those six pack pics are very nice to look at! ha ha!

Oh, I did giggle at those pics, almost choked on my cup of tea - seriously, did he swallow a pumpkin?? I can believe it :-)

Isn't it great to be able to give fictional men bricked abdomens with trails of sexy hair feathering over hot, taut flesh...woops, sorry, getting carried away.

Great to see you have a healthy appreciation of Mr Beckham - yum yum!

CZ. I agree about soft tummys. And I agree about 6 packs too. Both have advantages!

:o)

Rhiannon...comforting. You're so right!

Thing is with me, I'm not getting all aquiver over David Beckham's and Jason Statham's bellies. It's their faces and shaved heads that get me every time. Deary me!

:o)

Lily, love. It's possibly an unhealthy appreciation for David Beckham. Good job my husband knows all about it, isn't it? HA!

With that Jason fella, he usually says, "Your man's on the TV, love."

And I say, "I'm not watching if he's got that silly fake US accent."

But when he speaks his normal London accent...yes, well. I'm ending my discussion about it right now.

Yowza! That first guy with the big gut looks like he's going to explode and I'm NOT cleaning it up1

Emmy Ellis said...

LMFAO Faith. I thought the same. I mean, that's as hard as a damn cricket ball, surely. He must be uncomfortable. God, I'd love to go up to him with a pin...

Is that first one real? Jeez! That looks so uncomfortable.

As for David and Jason--yum, yum! I'm wide awake now

Loooove Jason. Yeah, it's the shaved head. Sigh.

I'm with C. Zampa and Rhiannon Mills on this one. Six packs are nice eye candy but I like my soft pillow tummy to nuzzle against sometimes. My man fits that bill. :-). He doesn't look like he swallowed a pumpkin, but he has just enough of a tummy to be comfy.

Besides, I'm no skinny Minnie myself. If a man can't love me with my jelly rolls, then I have no interest in him. It'd be rather hypocritical for me to be like that with men too.

Bellies not all that important within a reasonable size. Yeah when I was 20 I wanted fit and football player like. I'm older. I could care less (within reason. The first guy who swallowed a pumpkin is a no go).

Whew! Glad you put the washboards last. I was about to loose my breakfast. Hilarious post.

I'll admit that I don't mind a skosh of happy fat on a man (no pumpkin swallowers, please!), but I'd never kick Beckham or Statham out of bed :D

Oh my god! That first guy looks like he swallowed an entire FIELD of pumpkins. LOL

Well, I guess he has a handy place to set his coffee cup.

(Love the new look of the blog, by the way.)

=)

LOL Cindy!

Hi Casey!

Yes, a field it is.

I haven't finished messing with the blog yet. Got a few things to do tomorrow.

Actually, the first guy looks like he's 10 months along now and ready to pop. How many six-packs do you think he'll have? (g) It's fine on a woman who's actually pregnant, but one a man? Yeah, uh, no.

I still have a fine appreciation for a six-pack. It's not my criteria for a man, though. (I don't have a six-pack.) My hubby fills my arms just perfectly. :)

You just HAD to bring up Jason Statham, didn't you? That man makes me melt.

Have you seen Mark Dacascos? He's gorgeous. Plays Wo Fat on "Hawaii Five-0" and he's the chairman on Iron Chef America. I can bounce quarters on his belly! Check out my blog for pictures.

Mark Dacascos was on Dancing with the Stars, Elizabeth. He's world champion in some form of martial arts. And, yes, he's hot. (g)

All I'm thinking is if we discussed man boobs yesterday and man bellies today are we heading below the equator for tomorrow? Curious minds wants to know.

Emmy Ellis said...

An appreciation is right, Marci. Nice to look at, not necessarily nice on your bloke.

:o)

Emmy Ellis said...

Nope, Elizabeth, not seen him, but I'm about to check your blog and see!

He's not doin' it for me, Elizabeth!
